72 km Karnataka stretch of Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway completed

The construction of a 72 km section of the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway within Karnataka has been completed. Implemented by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), this expressway segment connects seamlessly with the 82 km Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) from Dabaspet to Hoskote, providing entry and exit points at Malur, Bangarpet, and Bethamangala.

Motorists will be able to travel the entire stretch within Karnataka in just 40 minutes. The expressway, designed for speeds up to 120 km/h, will reduce the Bengaluru-Chennai travel distance to 350 km, cutting travel time from over six hours to approximately three hours. An opening date for the road is yet to be announced.
