South Eastern Railway has achieved total freight loading of 122.14 million tonnes (mt) during April-October 2024, an increase of 2.41 per cent over the corresponding period of the last year. The zone achieved freight revenue of Rs 111.44 billion from April to October 2024, marking an increase of 4.6 per cent, in comparison to the Rs 106.56 billion recorded during the same period of the previous year.
Further, it loaded 31.95 mt of coal during April-October 2024, which is 7.87 per cent higher than the corresponding period of the last year.
