Tata Power and Noida International Airport (NIA) have entered into a 25-year strategic partnership for the integration of renewable energy. Two power purchase agreements were signed for wind and solar power supply.
As part of the partnership, a total investment of Rs 5.5 billion would be directed towards the supply of solar and wind power and for the development of essential dry utilities and smart energy infrastructure.
Tata Power Trading Company Limited is to supply 10.8 MW of wind power to NIA, with secured assets from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). Further, a 13 MW onsite solar power capacity will be developed, operated, and maintained by TPREL.
