Indian Railway conducted the trail run of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail (Vande Metro) on the route between Ahmedabad and Mumbai, on November 4, 2024. The trial of the service was conducted at a speed of 130 km per hour under the supervision of the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO).
Further, the train’s key performance parameters, such as vibrations and oscillations will be evaluated by the RDSO to determine if the trial was successful.
