Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) handled 611,055 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of containers in October 2024, an increase of 11.2 per cent as compared to the traffic in October 2023.
Besides, the port handled 562 container rakes and 88,224 TEUs in October 2024, as compared to 555 rakes and 88,412 TEUs in October 2023.
Overall, the port recorded 4,138,542 TEUs of containers from April to October period of FY 2024-25, about 13.02 per cent increase as compared to the corresponding period of FY 2023-24.
