VA Tech Wabag Limited has won a contract worth Rs 10 billion for development of a desalination plant at Indosol Solar PV manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The work order has been issued by the Indosol Solar Private Limited (ISPL).
The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, (EPC) installation, testing and commissioning of the 100 million litres per day (mld) seawater desalination plant followed by 15 years operation and maintenance contract. The work is likely to be completed in 38 months.
