South Eastern Railway has achieved total freight loading of 104.62 million tonnes (mt) during 2024-25 (till September 2024), an increase of 2.84 per cent over the corresponding period of the last year. Further, it generated freight revenue of Rs 95.72 billion, which is 6.93 per cent higher than Rs 89.55 billion recorded during the same period last year.
Besides, commodity-wise, during the same period, the zone loaded 27.16 mt of coal and 53.10 mt of iron ore among others.
