The Union Cabinet approves Rs 632.46 billion Chennai Metro Phase-II

The union cabinet has approved Rs 632.46 billion for the Chennai Metro Phase II project, which will span over 119 km. The project will encompass 128 stations, and the expected year of completion is 2027. Post project completion, the Chennai metro network will span 173 km.
