Lupin acquires 42.61 per cent stake in Sunsure solarpark with an equity investment of Rs 105.53 million

Lupin Limited has signed a share subscription and shareholder’s agreement with Sunsure Solarpark Seventeen Private Limited and Sunsure Energy Private Limited to invest in Sunsure Solarpark, acquiring up to 42.61 per cent of its shares at a total investment of Rs 105.53 million in two stages. This investment will allow Lupin Limited to buy renewable power for its Tarapur manufacturing site, helping lower power costs and support decarbonisation efforts. The deal is expected to be completed within six months.
