Highways Infrastructure Trust wins bid for NHAI’s TOT bundle 16 at Rs 66.61 billion

The Highways Infrastructure Trust has emerged as the highest bidder for the monetisation of the 251.5 km toll-operate-transfer (TOT) Bundle 16 under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Bids were invited in December 2023, and the trust’s offer of Rs 66.61 billion surpassed competitors such as IRB Infrastructure Trust (Rs 61.83 billion), Adani Roads (Rs 56.1 billion) and Cube Highways (Rs 50.11 billion). NHAI is expected to issue the letter of award shortly. TOT Bundle 16 covers the four-lane Hyderabad-Nagpur corridor in Telangana.
