Adani Power signs BTA with NMPL to acquire ADTPS for Rs 8.15 billion

Adani Power Limited has signed a business transfer agreement with North Maharashtra Power Limited to acquire the Adani Dahanu thermal power station for Rs 8.15 billion. The power station, located in Dahanu, Maharashtra, has a capacity of 2×250 MW (500 MW). Following this acquisition, Adani Power’s total generation capacity will increase to 17,550 MW. The acquisition aims to maximise synergistic benefits and leverage the company’s experience and capabilities for improved operational efficiency and reliability.
