Wabtec Locomotive Private Limited, a joint venture between Indian Railway and Wabtec Corporation will manufacture the evolution series ES43ACmi locomotives in Bihar’s Marhowra plant and export the same to Africa by 2025.
Further, these locomotives feature evolution series engine of 4,500 horsepower. Also, these engines are fuel efficient and draw higher performance even in higher temperatures environment.
