Highways Infrastructure Trust (HIT) submitted the highest bid with an offer of Rs 66.61 billion for toll-operate-transfer (ToT) bundle 16. ToT bundle 16 comprises two stretches totalling 251 km on the Hyderabad-Nagpur corridor in Telangana. The remaining three bidders for ToT 16 were IRB Infrastructure Trust (Rs 61.83 billion), Adani Roads (Rs 56.10 billion), and Cube Highways (Rs 50.11 billion). Acceptance of the bid will mark the first asset monetisation in 2024-25 and will contribute towards 40 per cent of the target for asset monetisation through ToT.
