Indian Railway launches India’s first 20-coach Vande Bharat Express train on Varanasi-Delhi route 

Indian Railway (IR) launched India’s first 20-coach Vande Bharat Express train, connecting Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Delhi, on September 16, 2024. Further, several other Vande Bharat Express trains were launched by IR on the route between Nagpur to Secunderabad, Kolhapur to Pune, Agra Cantt to Varanasi, Durg to Visakhapatnam and Pune to Hubbali.

Additionally, the Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express train has a total of 20 coaches and Durg to Visakhapatnam has 16 coaches while the other trains have eight coaches.

Besides, Vande Bharat sleeper train service on the Pune-Delhi route is also likely to commence soon.
