The national highways (NH) wing of the State Highways Department has initiated the construction of a flyover on Coimbatore-Mettupalayam Road to address traffic congestion. The flyover, spanning 975 meter from Alagesan Road Junction to Eru Company, will feature a width of 16.61 meter and accommodate four lanes of traffic. The project is scheduled for completion within two years.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has allocated Rs 750.50 million to the NH wing for this development. The project also involves the construction of 23 pillars and 22 decks.
