Indian Railway (IR) has launched three new Vande Bharat Express train services on the route between Meerut-Lucknow, Madurai-Bengaluru and Chennai-Nagercoil. These trains will facilitate regional connectivity across Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Besides, IR unveiled the prototype of India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper train on September 1, 2024 at Bharat Earth Movers Limited’s Bengaluru facility. The testing process for the same is likely to be completed by October 2024.
