Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved loan worth Rs 9.14 billion for Kochi metro rail project phase II.
Kochi Metro Rail Limited is likely to sign the loan agreement with AIIB in October 2024.
The project involves the development of an 11.17 km long metro rail network from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of phase I in Kerala with an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
