Welspun Michigan Engineers wins contract for rehabilitation of sewage infrastructure in Mumbai

Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,597.5 million for the rehabilitation of man-entry sewers and sewer lines in the suburbs of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The contract has been awarded by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of man-entry sewers by trenchless technology and 17 km long sewer lines (diameter 1,000 mm to 1,800 mm) in the suburbs of Mumbai city. The work is likely to be completed in two years.
