The government of Assam has announced a 7 km long elevated road valued at Rs 12 billion in Silchar town.
The project will be executed in two phases. Phase I will stretch from Capital Point to Chittaranjan Statue, covering 3.50 km, while Phase II will extend from Capital Point to Ramnagar, also covering 3.50 km.
The state government aims to complete the entire project within two-and-a-half years, significantly improving connectivity and easing traffic congestion in Silchar.
