Ceigall begins casting pier caps for AGCC-05 package for Agra metro line 1

Ceigall India Limited has commenced the casting of pier caps for the AGCC-05 package, which spans 3.72 km and will support the construction of a viaduct on line 1 of the Agra metro rail project. The total cost of the project is Rs 2.67 billion.

The company plans to cast 110 pier caps, each with a standard width of 9.5 metres and weighing 62 tonnes. In the coming months, Ceigall will also begin casting double-T girders for the stations, as well as I-girders and U-girders for the line viaducts.

AGCC-05 is the final package for line 1, providing connectivity to the 7.93 km underground stretch. The AGCC-05 package is an elevated section, measuring 3.72 km, located at the northern end of line 1, which connects the Taj East Gate to Sikandra and includes 14 stations.
