Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched a biofuel blend high flash high-speed diesel (HFHSD) bunker at the Mumbai Port.
The facility, the first-of-its-kind by an oil marketing company in India, will provide shipping companies with a cleaner, bio-degradable alternative to traditional fuels.
It is aligned with the government of India’s vision for a clean energy future, as outlined in the National Biofuels Policy and Maritime India Vision 2030.
