The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has approved the detailed project report (DPR) of the Bijapur-Gadchiroli new rail line project and the Korba-Ambikapur new rail line project.
Bijapur-Gadchiroli new rail line project involves construction of a 490 km long new rail line from Bijapur to Gadchiroli via Bacheli in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.
Korba-Ambikapur new rail line project involves construction of a 180 km long new rail line from Korba to Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh.
