Commercial operations commenced on the 8 km Modi Nagar (north)-Meerut (south) stretch under the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project on August 18, 2024.
The project involves the development of 82.15 km RRTS connecting the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
