The State Highways Department aims to complete the construction of a new subway at Valarmathi Junction in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu by April 2025.
The project involves the development of a 300 m long subway at an investment of Rs 220 million. This project will allow uninterrupted vehicle movement from Sri Shakti Junction to Park Road and from Kumaran Road to Valarmathi Junction.
The new subway will eliminate the need for traffic signals at this junction, which currently contribute to significant congestion on Kumaran Road.
