PMRDA allocates Rs 1 billion for Chakan Bypass Road construction 

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has allocated Rs 1 billion for the construction and land acquisition of the Chakan bypass road. Spanning approximately 2.50 km, the bypass will start from Rase Phata on the Chakan-Shikrapur road and pass through the boundaries of Rase, Kadachiwadi, and Medankarwadi villages, connecting to the Pune-Nashik highway near Bangla Vasti. The project, expected to be completed by end 2024-25, and will feature both concrete and asphalt sections with central dividers.
