East Coast Railway has completed excavation works for a 700 m escape tunnel between the Adhenigarh-Charichhak section on the Khurda road-Bolangir new line project.
The project involves construction of 289 km long broad-gauge railway line from Khurda road to Bolangir under the Khurda division of ECoR, aiming at connecting Western Odisha with Eastern Odisha at an estimated cost of Rs 37.91 billion.
