Stormwater drainage project for Sector 68 to 75 in Gurugram approved

The High-Powered Works Purchase Committee, Government of Haryana has approved the development of a stormwater drainage project for Sector 68 to 75 in Gurugram, Haryana. The project being implemented by Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority includes the laying of a 17.63 km long balance master drainage network in various sizes covering sectors 68, 69, 70, 70A, 71, 72, 75A, 73 and 74.

The water from these drains will be discharged in the master stormwater drain which is under construction along the SPR from Vatika Chowk to NH 48 and then ultimately into Leg III also called Badshahpur drain. The work is likely to be completed in 22 months at an estimated cost of Rs 510 million.
