Mundra Port recorded cargo handling of 51.2 million metric tonnes (mmt) during April-June period of FY 2024-25. This marks the highest volume of cargo handled in a single quarter in India.
The port witnessed the highest number of 1,594 container rakes (about 0.17 million twenty-foot equivalent units) in June 2024. It included the highest number of outward (import) TEUs handled in a single day, with 3,954 TEUs managed by 33 trains.
