Various firms have won contracts for the development of sewerage projects in Nagpur, Maharashtra under five packages. Bids for the same were invited by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation in January 2024.
These include, Vishvaraj Environment Private Limited winning a contract worth Rs 927,88 million for implementation of package 1. It includes the construction of a rising main, wet well, pump house, sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 17.5 million litres per day, supervisory control and data acquisition automation with operation and maintenance for five years. Further, Laxmi Civil Engineering Services Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,468.1 million for the implementation of package 2. It includes the construction of the sewerage collection system of south zone (SZ) 1 and allied works. Kalthia Engineering and Construction Limited has won a contract worth Rs 2,200.07 million for the implementation of package 3. It includes the construction of a sewerage collection system of SZ-2, SZ -3, GM and allied works. P. Das Infrastructure Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 996.18 million for the implementation of package 5. It includes the construction of a sewerage collection system of SZ-4, GM 4-2, GM 4-4 and allied works. Laxmi Civil Engineering Services Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,301.24 million for the implementation of package 5. It includes the construction of the sewerage collection system of Hudkeshwar and Narsala. The work is likely to be completed in two years.
