Government of Telangana to develop Hyderabad metro project phase-II in Telangana in JV with GoI

The Government of Telangana is planning to develop Hyderabad metro project phase-II in joint venture (JV) with Government of India (GoI).

Besides, detailed project report for corridor VII (Lal Bahadur (LB) Nagar – Hayathnagar) is underway.

Phase II of the project involves the expansion of metro network developed in phase I by 70 km in Hyderabad city of Telangana. The project will be executed by Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited. It comprises of seven corridors namely, corridor I from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station to Falaknuma, corridor II from Falaknuma to Chandrayangutta, corridor III from Nagole to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, corridor IV from Mailardevpally to HC, corridor V from Raidurg to Financial District, corridor VI from Miyapur to Patancheru and corridor VII from LB Nagar to Hayathnagar.
