Operations at the new terminal of the Pune International Airport, Maharashtra commenced on July 14, 2024. The first flights were operated by Air India and Air India Express to New Delhi and Bhubaneswar respectively. The terminal was earlier inaugurated in March 2024.
The new terminal spans an area of more than 51,000 square meters and features amenities including 10 aerobridges, five baggage carousels, 34 counters and 25 self-check-in stations.
