Network Planning Group has approved the Lucknow metro rail project (East-West corridor). Besides, the same will be sent for approval to the Public Investment Board.
The project involves the extension of the metro rail network in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh. The corridor will span a length of 11.16 km connecting Charbagh to Vasant Kunj with an investment of Rs 58.8 billion. It will consist of a total of 12 stations and is likely to be completed in five years.
