Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has received the Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 8,934.8 million for the construction of a new terminal building and allied works under Package I of the Varanasi Airport new terminal building project.
Bids for the same were invited by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in December 2023. The work is likely to be completed in three years with five years for operation, maintenance and all-inclusive comprehensive annual maintenance contract (AICMC) including a defect liability period (DLP) of two years.
The project involves the construction of a new terminal building, apron extension, runway extension and other associated works at the Varanasi Airport in Uttar Pradesh.
