Paradip Port Authority sets a new record of handling cargo

Paradip Port Authority has created a new record by handling 41.12 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo within the first 100 days of the fiscal year (FY) 2024-25. This is an increase of 4.78 per cent as compared to the 39.25 mmt cargo handled during the corresponding period of FY 2023-24.

With the opening of the new Western Dock, traffic at Paradip Port is expected to cross 300 mmt annually by 2027.
