The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has approved the Ahilya Path project, a 15 km, 75 m wide carbon-neutral road from Rinjlay village to Revati village (Ujjain road), with plans to later expand it to 90 m. The road will feature green spaces, walkways, and bicycle tracks. The project will involve land acquisition from eight villages, totaling 1,400 hectares.
The development will be divided into five schemes with an initial investment of Rs 4 billion. A key component of the plan is a 214 hectare “Fintech City” near Palakhedi and Budhania villages, aimed at clustering financial technology institutions to boost Indore’s economy.
