North Central Railway has completed 42 km of doubling work between the Mahoba-Kulpahar section and the Teharka-Mauranipur section for the Jhansi-Khairar-Manikpur and Bhimsen-Khairar rail lines doubling project.
The project involves doubling and electrification of existing 411 km long Jhansi-Khairar-Manikpur and Bhimsen-Khairar railway lines in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh at an estimated cost of Rs 43.29 billion.
