Wabtec Corporation has established its new rail component and subsystem production facility at Rohtak in Haryana at an investment of Rs 1.5 billion. The facility covers a total area of 10,000 square metres. It will initially produce products such as axle-mounted disc brake systems, distributor valves, friction materials for locomotives, wagons for IR and metro trains. The facility also aims to further extend its products and services to other rail, mining and industrial products.
