SJVN Limited expects its under-construction 900 MW Arun 3 hydroelectric project in Nepal to start power generation from 2025 as nearly three-fourths of the work has been completed. The Prime Minister of Nepal has triggered the final blast to mark the completion of heading excavation for the 11.8 km-long headrace tunnel of the 900 MW Arun 3 hydroelectric project in Sankhuwasabha district, Nepal. The project has the potential to generate 3,924 MUs of electricity every year.
