Powergrid has acquired Khavda IV-E2 Power Transmission Limited, an SPV for the evacuation of power from potential renewable energy zone in the Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase IV (7 GW): Part E2. REC Power Distribution Company Limited has been appointed as the bid process coordinator for the selection of transmission service providers through the tariff-based competitive bidding process on a build, own, operate and transfer basis.
