New parking stands at Ahmedabad airport

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad recently witnessed the addition of five new parking stands at Terminal 2. The total number of parking stands at the airport now stands at 18. The expansion will facilitate an increase in flight operations and cater to the rising air travel demand in Ahmedabad. The parking stands also provide airlines with the opportunity to increase connections to Ahmedabad. Other expansions at the terminal include four new aerobridges and a multiple aircraft ramp system implemented on four existing aerobridges to optimise the stand usage.
