Gujarat Gas Limited has increased the price of industrial piped natural gas (PNG) supply by Rs 2 per standard cubic meters (scm) to Rs 44.68 per scm in Morbi, Gujarat with effect from July 4, 2024. The revision is due to increase in spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices.
Gujarat Gas is one of the country’s largest city gas distribution (CGD) companies operating in 44 districts in 6 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh and the union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Currently, it operates 808 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and provides PNG supply to 2.11 million domestic, 15,200 commercial and 4,390 industrial consumers.
