The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) conducted a safety inspection on the 15.58 km long Chhaygaon-Mirza section of the Bongaigaon-Goalpara-Guwahati (Kamakhya) railway line doubling project.
The project, being implemented by NFR, involves doubling of the 176-km existing rail line between Bongaigaon, Goalpara, and Guwahati in Assam with an investment of Rs 40.59 billion.
