Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) has reached a new milestone by handling 677,204 metric tonnes (mt) of cargo in 24 hours on June 28, 2024. This is the highest-ever cargo recorded amongst all the major ports of India.
With this, the port has surpassed its previous record of handling 664,904 mt on January 23, 2023.
