US Trade and Development Agency approves grant funding for integrated aviation hub at Hisar

The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has reportedly approved grant funding for technical assistance to aid in creating an integrated aviation hub at the Hisar Airport, Haryana.

The move targets to strengthen the supply chain network of India through the development of airport cargo and logistics infrastructure. They are to partner with the Haryana Airports Development Corporation (HADC) for the same. USTDA would facilitate HADC’s implementation of the integrated aviation hub through assistance like capacity building. Further, HADC is to select a US firm for the technical assistance.
