Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for setting up a small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Hatta, Madhya Pradesh.
The plant would utilise cutting-edge technology to convert gas from ONGC’s Vindhya basin into LNG. Besides, ONGC has submitted its field development plan (FDP) to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons for monetising its assets in the Hatta area.
