GoUP approves DPR for Noida Sector 142-Botanical Garden Metro Project in Uttar Pradesh

The government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) has approved the detailed project report (DPR) for Noida Sector 142-Botanical Garden Metro Project along with funds worth Rs 22.54 billion. Besides, the project now awaits the Union Government’s approval.

The project involves the development of a metro rail network connecting the corridor-2 (Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden) of Delhi Metro-Phase III through Botanical Garden metro station to Sector 142 in Noida covering a distance of 11.56 km at an estimated cost of Rs 22.54 billion. A total of eight stations are planned under the project including Botanical Garden, Noida Sector – 44, Noida Office, Noida Sector – 97, Noida Sector – 105, Noida Sector – 108, Noida Sector – 93 and Panchsheel Balak Inter College End – Noida Sector – 142. The project is likely to be completed in 36 months.
