MPMRCL to prepare a new feasibility report for Indore Metro Rail Project Phase-I

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) is likely to prepare a new feasibility report for Indore Metro Rail Project Phase-I. The report will be submitted by July 2024. It is considering revising the planned alignment.

Besides, about 40 per cent of the physical progress has been achieved on the project.

The project involves development of a metro rail transit system comprising a ring line of length 31.55 km. It is being implemented by MPMRCL at an estimated cost of Rs 75 billion.
