INS Sunaya enters Port Victoria, Seychelles to undertake EEZ surveillance

The Indian Navy’s offshore patrol vessel, INS Sunayna, docked at Port Victoria in Seychelles on June 15, 2024, in the company of Seychelles Coast Guard Ship (SCGS) Zoroaster. Recently, Zoroaster completed its short refit at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), India.

During the deployment, the vessel will undertake joint economic exclusive zone (EEZ) surveillance with the Seychelles Coast Guard. This is an important operation for maintaining maritime security and combating challenges such as illegal fishing, smuggling, and piracy.
