Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) has commenced the production of trainsets for Bengaluru Metro Rail Project – Phase II.
Of the 36 trainsets needed for the Yellow Line (R.V. Road with Bommasandra), TRSL will produce about 34 trainsets. The first trainset scheduled for delivery in August 2024.
The project involves construction of four extensions and two new lines covering a length of 72.09 km (13.79 km underground and 58.3 km elevated), in Karnataka at an investment of Rs 306.95 billion.
