Manohar Lal Khattar has been appointed the union minister of housing and urban affairs. The ministry is mandated to execute various projects including the flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) and the Central Vista redevelopment plan.
Further, C.R. Patil has been appointed as the union minister of jal shakti. He is determined that the ministry will set new benchmarks in water conservation, sanitation and management. The ministry will promote collective efforts and conserve water assets with the use of the latest technologies.
